CeNGEN
We are generating and analyzing the first genome scale, high resolution map of gene expression in an entire nervous system (CeNGEN, the C. elegans Neuronal Gene Expression Network). This work is a collaboration with the Hobert lab (Columbia), the Miller lab (Vanderbilt), and the Sestan lab (Yale). The basic idea behind the proposal is to use the well- characterized anatomy of C. elegans as a platform to map gene expression across a model nervous system.
